Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home is the state’s leader in residential, day treatment, education and community-based services for abused, neglected and at-risk children and youth. Formerly Colorado Christian Home, Tennyson Center for Children, has been changing lives and giving hope to kids and families throughout the Rocky Mountain region for over 100 years.
During that time, Central Christian is honored to have remained a faithful partner to the Tennyson Center. Here, children and families have a full spectrum of resources to help them gain insights, support and healing through a variety of programs including residential treatment, special education/day treatment, and community-based in-school, in-home and family services.
We are grateful for our long relationship with the home and continue to contribute significant time and resources towards its ministry.
- Central facilitates lunch and an afternoon worship service one Sunday a month for the children residing at the home
- Central’s members volunteer individually with the children
- Central is well-represented at Tennyson’s annual fund raising dinner, both as table hosts and contributors
- Central has provided quilts to Tennyson quilt sales for more than 35 years
With as much as Central Christian has contributed to this ministry over the last century, it may be that no other cause is as close to our hearts’ than the Tennyson Center for Children at Colorado Christian Home
